Mehr gepolsterte Bank als Sofa, dient das Object Sofa dem kurzen Aufenthalt. Es scheint mit seiner Minimal-Ergonomik eines Sportgerätes geradewegs aus der Turnhalle zu kommen. Die quaderartige Grundform lässt sich mit Rücken- und Armlehnen zu einer Couch komplettieren.

Die geringe Tiefe des Object Sofa kommt begrenzten Raumverhältnissen auf Gängen und in Vorzimmern entgegen. Von der Seite gesehen erscheint es gestaucht, fast perspektivisch verzerrt, von vorne jedoch auf konventionelle Weise komfortabel. Füße aus Flachstahl schwingen sich unter dem schmalen Sitzbarren hervor und halten ihn stabil.

More an upholstered bench than a sofa, the Object Sofa is intended to be used only briefly. With its minimal ergonomics that are reminiscent of a sports device, it seems to come straight from the gym. The basic rectangular shape can be supplemented with a backrest and armrests to form a couch.

The shallow depth of the Object Sofa is ideally suited to the limited space in corridors and anterooms. Seen from the side it seems compressed, almost distorted in perspective, but from the front it nevertheless seems to offer conventional comfort. Feet made of flat steel swing out from beneath the narrow seating bar and keep it stable.
